Voter List Validation

Goal

o contribute to the preparation of an accurate, updated and credible voter list in Kamrangirchar Thana area through systematic validation and community-level verification of the existing voter information, thereby supporting a free, fair and inclusive National Parliamentary Election.

Objective

• - To validate the existing voter list in the selected areas of Kamrangirchar Thana by verifying the identity, residence and eligibility of registered voters.
• - To identify and report discrepancies in the voter list, including duplicate entries, deceased persons, migrated persons, incorrect information and other irregularities.
• - To identify eligible citizens who may have been left out of the existing voter list and facilitate their referral to the appropriate authority for necessary action.
• - To increase community awareness and participation in the voter-list validation process, particularly among women, low-income households, migrants and other potentially under-represented groups.
• - To establish a systematic verification and reporting mechanism for submitting validated information and identified discrepancies to the concerned election authorities within the four-month project period.
